Task Force on AIDS of New York State -- Psychological Association

A network of New York State licensed psychologists who provide quality psychological services to persons affected by or concerned about HIV or AIDS. Services include counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. No fees are charged or collected by the Psychological Referral Service. Participating psychologists charge fees on an ability-to-pay sliding scale. Some participating psychologists accept Medicaid, Medicare and other insurance.

This consists of three programs: Free medications, primary care services including medical exams, CD4 monitoring, dental and eye care and most other outpatient services, and home care services. Eligibility is determined through application. There are certain income guidelines and the program is meant for HIV+ people who don't qualify for Medicaid or those awaiting approval.
